Atletico Madrid face Cadiz and Villarreal at the Vicente Calderon Stadium. Carlos Bianchi believes that the team is capable of climbing up the table with points from the next two home matches.
“We have played some good football at the Vicente Calderon Stadium, but we have to win at home for the fans and for ourselves”.
”It is always good to play well and win but it is also important to know how to win when the team has an off day. The last match was ok, but we could have scored more goals. We still have to improve but we have to make sure that we dig out the results”.
“The team has several offensive players. We always play with two forwards and we also have Maxi and Petrov who are two very attacking players. It is normal that a team with such attacking players lacks a little in midfield”.
As for the referees, Carlos Bianchi believes that, “the referees always try to do their best and I prefer not to talk about them. I do not actually know any of the referees and I am not going to judge them. At the end of the day they are only human”.
When asked about the favourite for the title, Bianchi believes that,: “the three teams with the largest budget, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia will be there at the end of the season”.
